The purpose of the BC Current is to give citizens of the Greater Battle Creek Area an alternative news source made by them and published online for the benefit of our community; and to give citizens the opportunity and encouragement to participate in a process that fosters civic engagement, computer literacy and a deeper understanding of their community.
